Samsung’s much anticipated Galaxy S8, has a lot riding on it. The S8 is intended to be Samsung’s come back phone that not only has to take on the iPhone 7, but also has to make up for their huge Samsung Galaxy Note 7 Recall that tainted the company’s image. To do this Samsung is pulling out all the stops and making sure that this next phone which is expected to arrive in April 2017, will be feature packed and feature game changing technology.
The Samsung Galaxy S8 has been awarded the “best” display ever, according to DisplayMate. A new report from DisplayMate claims they have the “best” smartphone display available on the market right now, awarding it’s highest ever score- an “A+” rating. The S8 has more advanced processing with Multi-Frame Image Processing which means that it takes several frames in one shot and automatically blends them together by getting the sharpest details possible out of all of the frames captured. This prevents photos from being too noisy and makes them as sharp as possible.
Galaxy S8 Features
- Bluetooth 5.0
- (Almost) All Screen Display
- No Home Button
- Ditching the Headphone Jack
- Missing: Finger Print Sensors Under the Display
The S8’s bright pixels curve all the way to its edges, with just a sliver of metal at the top and bottom. Inside, there’s Bixby, a virtual assistant that promises to operate any aspect of your phone by voice. And if you want, the S8 can also double as—get this—a desktop computer.
The result, the fingerprint sensor on the Galaxy S8 now protrudes out of the back cover. When the device is placed on a flat surface with the rear side making contact with that surface, the smartphone no longer lies flat. This is one of the trade-offs that users are going to be experiencing when they decide to go ahead with this ‘fix’.
