Epson launches Epson L380 All-In-One Ink Tank Printer, a perfect solution for all your printing and scanning requirements. Epson L380 is a good choice to consider for use at both home and small businesses.
Epson launched 4All-in-one printers this year in the month of April. The category consisted of L361, L380, L385 and L485 InkTank printer models focussed for heavy home user that demands cost efficiency. The new models offer page yields of 7,500 pages in colour or 4,500 pages in black with each set of inks, delivering 7 paise cost per page for monochrome and 18 paise for colour in the market. Let’s look at the highlighting features of the Epson L380 printer.
The shiny looking sleek design of the product is something which definitely made an impression on me. The printer weights 4.4Kg, 482mm long (including the ink tank on the side), 300mm wide and 145mm tall.
On the front, we have 4 buttons; the power switch, b/w copy, color copy, cancel button. There are two LED lights below cancel button; which shows the printing and ink status. On the back, there is a port for the power cable and on the side, there is a USB port for connecting to the computer.
Let’s talk about Tech Specs, the Epson L380 Printer uses the on-demand ink jet method for printing. The maximum print resolution is 5760*1440 dpi. On paper, the printer offers a printing speed for A4(Draft) 33ppm for B/W and 15ppm for color prints. In case of photo draft, it may take up to 27 sec per photo. For copying, the maximum supports up to 20 copies at a time and size of the paper is A4.
The Epson L380 has an input page capacity that can hold up to 100 pages and the output unit can hold up to 30 pages. The printer can print on A4, A5, A6, B5, 10 x 15 cm (4 x 6 in), 13 x 18 cm (5 x 7 in), 9 x 13 cm (3.5 x 5 in), Letter (8½ x 11 in), Legal (8½ x 14 in), Half Letter (5½ x 8½ in), 13 x 20 cm (5 x 8 in), 20 x 25 cm (8 x 10 in), 16:9 wide size, 100 x 148 mm Envelopes: #10, DL and C6.
The printer offers USB 2.0 connectivity option which supports Windows XP / Vista / 7 / 8 / 8.1 / 10
Mac OS X 10.6.8 or later. It also consumes lesser power with a maximum of 13W during operation and a max of 3.8W in standby mode.
One more advantage of the Epson L380 printer is that it gives me the added convenience of scan and copy functions. Thanks to its precise 600 x 1200 dpi sensor, scans are razor sharp and clear while draft mode copies are completed in just 5 seconds for black and 10 seconds for colour. It’s a great way to preserve kid’s projects after they coloured for posterity! Nurturing art & craft hobbies in my pre-schooler is very economical thanks to Epson L380 printer.
